Linda Chōon Frischmeyer

Linda Chōon Frischmeyer has practiced with the Zen Community of Oregon since 2004,
took jukai in 2014, and became a Community Zen Leader in 2023. She did embodied
mindfulness work through M.E.T.A.(Mindful Experiential Therapeutic Approaches) in
2011 and attended The School for The Work of Byron Katie in 2018. Chōon facilitates
drop-ins to do The Work of Byron Katie at Heart of Wisdom Zen Temple and online, and
supports ZCO members interested in it. She retired from a 35-year law career at the
end of 2015 and continues to enjoy time with her husband, Michael Sojin Kip, cycling,
cooking, and knitting stuffed animals and Ego (a doll).
