Our Original Heart is always open. Loving Kindness practice can help dispel fear and anxiety, that prevents us from experiencing the ease and joy of the present moment. This is not a complacent practice but a call to honest intimacy with ourselves and the world in which we live.

Join us for this meditation retreat where we immerse ourselves in the teachings and practices of Loving Kindness.

This Sesshin will take place both in-person at Great Vow Zen Monastery and Online.

Sesshin is a rigorous and, at times, challenging silent meditation retreat that is not recommended for beginners. In order to attend in person, we ask that you attend one of our silent weekend retreats or a five-seven day silent retreat at another Zen Center before registering for our longer zen retreats. For more information about what to expect when attending a sesshin, click here.

Proof of vaccination and booster is required to attend events at Great Vow Zen Monastery. For the latest on our health policies click here.

$50 deposit holds your space; balance due on arrival.
