Dana is the practice of generosity. The teachers in the Zen Community of Oregon offer the Dharma as an act of generosity. The cost for attendance in retreats, workshops and classes covers only a part of our operations expenses as an organization. Making a contribution of dana for the teachers is a way to directly support their livelihood and allows them to continue to devote their time and energy to dharma practice and teaching.
