There will also be time for exploration through the written word and journaling prompts, small group sharing, and opportunities to meet with the retreat leaders. Held in the wild beauty of Great Vow’s forests and meadows we will connect and reconnect to our authentic interrelatedness with the living earth and the more-than-human community.
Whether you were assigned female at birth and/or have a complicated/fluid relationship to gender identity, were raised and conditioned as a woman, have transitioned to female and/or claim woman as your gender identity, this retreat is for you.

7P-8:30P – Meditation/Dharma Talk/Informal Tea/Women’s Circle OR Ceremony

Amy Kisei, Sensei
Amy Kisei, Sensei is an authorized Zen teacher, zen priest, spiritual counselor and mindfulness instructor. She has been practicing meditation for almost 20 years. Kisei has 12 years of monastic training and teaching experience from Great Vow Zen Monastery, and holds a BS in Earth Science and Gender Studies. She is trained in Mindful Eating […]

Laura Jomon Martin has been practicing Zen since 2004 and in 2016 was made a Dharma Holder. Her career has been in social work since 1993, primarily in community mental health, and she is currently an LCSW in private practice, and a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, certified through University of Massachusetts Medical School.
