Bystander Intervention: Training with Portland Peace Team - Awakening to the Delusion of Whiteness

Join us to learn techniques for stepping in safely when you see harassment or other kinds of conflict in the community. This training discusses bystander theory — how it affects us as individuals and its impacts more broadly. It teaches how to safely and efficiently intervene with cultural sensitivity.

This training is open to everyone but has a focus on methods for white allies. It may be of particular interest to graduates of ZCO’s Awakening to the Delusion of Whiteness affinity group — but you don’t need to have been part of that group to attend the intervention training.
